Visiting Other Parks

National Parks

Eastern Massachusetts is fortunate to have a dense concentration of National Park sites, many within convenient distance of Boston and each other. If you’ve got a full day or more, take advantage of their proximity. Suggested trips include Boston Harbor Islands, each with a particular focus and a different combination of sites.

Boston and Metropolitan Parks

The City of Boston manages an extensive city park system that is inter-connected to a network of urban parks managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation.
