Special Note from Tom Powers, President

Boston Harbor Island Alliance is deeply saddened by the passing of Senator Edward M. Kennedy. The Senator's life-long love of the sea, of sailing, and of Boston Harbor made him an enduring champion of the Boston Harbor Islands and a critical leader in their establishment as a national park area in 1996. His gigantic heart and love of Massachusetts will be greatly missed.
