A Bug's Life- ATBI in action

Description:
Join Jessica Rykken, from the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University in collecting bugs as a part of the All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory (ATBI). There’s no time to be squeamish, participants will get a brief overview of the research study then take part in the bug collection. Finally everyone gathers to examine what was caught, and through various sorting activities with magnifying lenses etc., ending with several vials of insects that will contribute “real data” to the All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory. Recommended for ages 10 and up. 12:15 pm to 2:00 pm.
